About SYSTEMS Medicine
A Look at Modern Stressors
Patients now face health issues that have not been well defined in classic medical literature. These include:
- Environmental Toxins
- Dietary Excesses of Sugars & Carbohydrates
- Imbalanced Gut Flora
- Inflammation & Stress Chemistry
Due to these stressors, we now understand that chronic disease tends to be preceded by a lengthy period of declining function in one or more of the body’s systems. Those dysfunctions are, for each of us, the result of lifelong interactions among our environment, lifestyle, and genetic predispositions.

Is this You?
Many symptoms are “sub-clinical” and can easily go unvalidated because conditions aren’t developed enough to warrant a diagnosis. These include:
- Low Thyroid
- Autoimmune Conditions
- Weight Gain & Hormonal Imbalances
- Gastro-Intestinal Complaints
- Energy & Mood Swings
- Depression & Anxiety
The Future of Healthcare
For most of my patients, the turning point comes when they realize something essential:
Your genes are not your destiny —
your environment is the instruction manual that tells your genes what to do.
Every system in your body is guided by epigenetics — the chemical “switches” that turn genes on or off in response to how you eat, sleep, move, breathe, think, and experience stress.
This means your metabolism, immune system, hormones, mood, detox pathways, inflammation levels — all of it — are constantly being shaped by your daily inputs.
In Systems Medicine, this is the foundation of everything we do.
Symptoms are not failures — they’re epigenetic expressions.
They are biological messages telling us that the body’s regulatory networks have lost rhythm, clarity, or safety.
When we restore communication between systems, we restore the signals that guide gene expression.
That’s epigenetic reprogramming.
With the right inputs, gene expression becomes more regulated, predictable, and supportive of metabolic, immune, and hormonal stability. This is health.
Epigenetic Reprogramming:
Why & How Systems Medicine Works
Balance Blood Sugar
When we lose our ability to connect insulin to our cells to deliver blood sugar, we end up storing that blood sugar as fat (stored energy). Learning to balance balance our blood sugar is a first step for most patients.
Turn on Longevity Switches
Autophagy is a self-healing switch that works to breakdown and recycle old, damaged cells in order to make new cells, particularly stem cells.
Return to a Rested State
Our nervous system has two divisions...one is known as the sympathetic state (fight/flight), and the other is the parsympathetic state (rest/digest). The body will heal and renew itself when in dominant parasympathetic state.
Reduce Gut-Inflammation
A simple, structured meal plan will include the necessary nutrients to generate new cells while eliminating the common culprit food triggers known to cause inflammation in the body.
Feed to Satiety
Hunger and satiety signaling hormones are the gateway for metabolic systems health. We focus on feeding foods in order to provide the raw materials to trigger satiety and build new cells.
Burn up Stored Toxic Fat
Excess weight is usually a stored energy battle. This means the body loses its natural ability to burn up the provided fuel, and in a state of energy & hormonal crisis, compensates by storing these calories as fat.

I help women over 40 unravel complex health patterns — metabolic, autoimmune, weight-related, hormonal, gut, immune, and stress-related — by restoring communication across the body’s systems.
I don’t chase symptoms. I help you understand what your body is trying to tell you — and teach you how to restore function where healing actually begins.
Most approaches treat symptoms, stack supplements, and focus on one system (gut, hormones, metabolism, detoxification) at a time.
I specialize in systems communication — looking at the mechanisms of how your metabolism, hormones, immune system, gut, nervous system, thyroid, and detox pathways talk to each other.
Because that’s where healing happens — in the communication between systems, not just within them.
My method is called The Live Clean Method™ — a structured, epigenetic reprogramming process that restores biological trust, recalibrates metabolism, and rewires how systems communicate.
It works through five core disciplines:
- Metabolic Sequencing & Cellular Safety
- Microbiome Recalibration
- Fat-Adaptive Physiology
- Nervous System & Lifestyle-Based Communication
- Measured Feedback
- & Empowered Learning
It’s not just a treatment plan — it’s a repeatable roadmap that helps you understand and work with your biology for life.

I specialize in women over 40 with:
✔ Autoimmune conditions (Hashimoto’s, MCAS, inflammatory syndromes)
✔ Weight loss resistance, metabolic dysfunction, insulin resistance, GLP-1 confusion
✔ Digestive issues, chronic inflammation, gut-immune disruption
✔ Thyroid, hormone, and stress-related burnout
✔ Mood, fatigue, sleep, brain fog, emotional flatness
✔ People who are smart, resourceful, tired of surface-level answers — and ready for the truth
They want certainty.
They want answers that make sense.
They want someone who sees the whole picture — not just a single lab marker or symptom.
They want to feel alive, clear, calm, strong, and confident — inside a body that works with them, not against them.
They don’t just want to feel better.
They want to understand their body and know how to keep it better — for life.
Clients report:
✨ 20–45 lbs weight loss (without starvation or burnout)
✨ Clear thinking, stable mood, improved memory
✨ Balanced thyroid markers without medication increases
✨ Resolved bloating, inflammation, histamine reactions, MCAS
✨ Vibrant energy, stable sleep, calmer nervous system
✨ A feeling of finally being in partnership with their body, not at war with it
Most importantly:
They leave knowing how to care for their health — without guessing, googling, or chasing another protocol.
Because we address the control system, not just the symptoms.
Healing doesn’t happen just in the gut or the thyroid — it happens in the communication between systems:
Metabolism ↔ Microbiome ↔ Hormones ↔ Immune ↔ Nervous ↔ Detox
When the communication is restored, the body self-corrects.
We don’t force healing. We enable it.
Most clients feel clarity + relief in the first 2–4 weeks.
Deeper transformation begins in 8–12 weeks.
Sustainable regulation and long-term change emerges around the 4–6 month mark — depending on your history, health, and engagement.
Healing isn’t instant — but it is predictable when physiology is respected.
I do not participate in insurance. Functional and Systems Medicine requires time, investigation, and a level of personalization that insurance models don’t support. However, you can use HSA or FSA funds.
Visa, Mastercard, AmEx, Discover, PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, check, and HSA/FSA.
Yes — most clients work with me from home through Telehealth. It saves time, and allows for deeper, more consistent partnership.
Yes. I do not replace your primary care doctor. I work alongside your medical team to help you address the root causes that improve function, communication, and long-term health.
